Aquaflow is an active and smart closed-loop water management system, combining water storage and subirrigation.
The system is designed to irrigate lawns without wasting water
or discharging into the environment and thus move towards water self-sufficiency and 0 phyto.

Benefits

aquaflow

Limit your
Water Footprint

With its closed-loop system, Aquaflow minimizes water loss (no wastewater discharge) and helps reduce the water footprint of sports pitches.
Each year, Aquaflow enables water savings of 50% to 100% and ensures water self-sufficiency during restrictions.

Strengthen nature

Aquaflow draws inspiration from nature and strengthens it.
Capillary irrigation of the pitch ensures agronomic properties superior to those of a traditional irrigation system: deep roots and a dense, resilient grass cover.

Reduce the use
of pesticides

By keeping water below the soil surface, Aquaflow reduces surface moisture, the formation of heat islands, and the growth of fungi that cause pitch diseases, lowering the need for pesticides.

Jean-Bouin Stadium

The first 0 water waste pitch in the world
An extraordinary project in the heart of Paris
The construction of Jean Bouin Stadium was a technical feat, with work completed in 8 weeks, compared to several months typically required for a similar project.

Since the end of the project, remarkable results have been observed : a pitch of exceptional durability, remaining flawless despite heavy use for both football and rugby.

Lawns at high risk of turf diseases

The diseases that attack stadium and training center turf and training centers develop certain resistances. Some pathogens, such as pyricularia oryzae, can destroy an entire a pitch in just a few days.

Natural lawns in peril due to droughts and water shortages.

Summer climatic conditions (repeated heatwaves and droughts) force clubs to limit watering. While high-level infrastructures are still spared from prefectural decrees of total watering bans, legislations are expected to tighten over the years, and training centers will likely be excluded from exemptions.

More frequent and intense floodings

Approximately 1.8 billion people worldwide are exposed to significant flood risk. France is not spared, as evidenced by the repeated floods in the north of Europe in winter 2023 and the severe summer storms. In this context, what role can sports clubs and particularly sports fields play?
